  • What is Super Polyurethane (SPU)?

JP’s very unique polyurethane mix made with low to mid pressure injection mold machine. SPU’s characteristics are flexible yet very sturdy and maintain ultra high memory when exposed under direct sun light.

  • What is Fiberglass (FRP / Fiber-Reinforced Plastic)?

Fiberglass is a type of reinforced plastic with resin and weave of fiber matt. This is the most common material used for aftermarket body kits by many manufacturers around the world.

  • Which is better, Fiberglass (FRP) or Super Polyurethane (SPU)?

Characteristic of FRP: Fiberglass is a type of reinforced plastic with resin and weave of fiber matt. This is the most common material used for aftermarket body kits by many manufacturers around the world.

Characteristics of SPU: Near perfect OEM fitment, very difficult to break, easy installation, difficult to repair if damaged. Used by many auto manufactures around the world.

  • My Super polyurethane body kit arrived folded in a small box! What do I do?

Some of our Super Polyurethane kits are shipped semi-folded to reduce your shipping cost. If your body kit arrived folded in a box, it is NOT defected. Folded Super Polyurethane parts will reshape its self back under heat. The ideal way to heat it up is to use the direct sun light. Please do not take the kit out of the original plastic bag when placing the parts under the sun light. Plastic bag acts as barrier trapping the heat inside making the kit to heat up faster. Do NOT use a heat gun as the polyurethane will melt or deform. Contact us or your local professional collision center / body shop for further advice.

  • My body kit did not arrive with any brackets or screws. Why?

If your body kit did not come with any screws or brackets, which means that, you do not need any of those parts to install the kit on to your car. It’ll use the factory screws to mount the pieces.

  • My body kit was damaged upon arrival. What do I do?

All of our body kits are inspected and packaged prior to shipping. If your body kit arrived damaged, contact us immediately to discuss the matter. Please take a digital photo of the damaged parts and send it to sales@jpusaco.com we will contact the shipper and file a damage claim accordingly. This procedure may take up to 2 to 3 weeks to resolve.

  • I want to know what the ETA is on the body kit I purchased.

We provide tracking information on all products shipped from our distribution center. Please contact the retailer or wholesaler which the body kit was purchased from.

  • Why are my parts on back order?

All of our products come from our factory in Asia. Please understand that the container from Japan does take up to 1 month to arrive in U.S. port.

How do I know my JP body kit is authentic?

There are numbers of counterfeit, imitation, “look-alike” body kits available on the market. To ensure that your JP body kit is authentic, make sure to purchase only from our authorized dealers, all of our Super Polyurethane kits have stamps on the back side with part / lot numbers. All of our Fiberglass kits have “JP” stamp on the backside. If you’re not sure if you received the authentic JP products, please contact us.

  • Do JP body kits / lip kits come painted?

No, none of our FRP kits and SPU kits come pre-painted.  

  • How can I get my car sponsored by JP U.S.A.?

  • Can I return my body kit?

Yes, we accept returns within 7 business days from the date of purchase. All products must be in un-painted, un-used, and un-damaged condition. Return shipping / freight cost will be responsible by purchaser’s expense. All return products result in minimum of 15% re-stocking fee on all FRP, and 25% re-stocking fee on all PU items paid by the purchaser. Return authorization number (RMA) must be provided by JP USA in order to compete the return procedure.  Please contact us at info@jpusaco.com for detailed information.
